Monthly Proof Reports
How to generate and download monthly proof reports as PDF.
Monthly proof reports provide a documented summary of your event processing activity for a given period. They are designed for compliance documentation, legal review, and audit preparation.
What Is in the Report
Each proof report includes:
- Summary statistics -- Total events processed, fields scrubbed, consent rate, and destination success rate for the selected period.
- Daily breakdown -- A day-by-day table showing events received, blocked, scrubbed, and forwarded. Useful for identifying patterns or anomalies.
- Destination health -- The forwarding success rate for each connected destination, including error counts and uptime indicators.
- Consent breakdown -- The percentage of events where consent was granted, denied, or not detected. Broken down by consent source (Cookiebot, OneTrust, and so on).
- Zero leakage statement -- A confirmation that all events were processed server-side with consent verification, and no browser-side data was sent directly to third-party platforms.
Who Uses These Reports
Proof reports are typically shared with:
- Attorneys -- As evidence of responsible data handling during legal proceedings or settlements.
- Compliance teams -- To document consent practices and data protection measures during regulatory reviews.
- Auditors -- As supporting documentation for privacy audits or platform compliance checks.
The report is formatted as a self-contained PDF that can be attached to legal filings or shared directly.
Generating a Report
- Go to Gateway > Proof in the sidebar.
- Select the reporting period using the date picker. You can choose any calendar month.
- Click Generate Report.
- Wait for the report to be generated. This typically takes a few seconds.
- Once generated, click Download PDF to save the report to your computer.
Generated reports are listed in the Monthly Reports section on the same page. You can download previously generated reports at any time without regenerating them.
Report Availability
Report access varies by plan:
- Starter -- Proof reports are not included.
- Professional -- Generate proof reports for any month.
- Enterprise -- Generate proof reports for any month, plus executive-formatted reports with remediation tracking.
If your plan does not include proof reports, you will see an upgrade prompt. Visit the Plans and Pricing article for plan details.
